Celebrating industry leaders advancing quality and safety standards for the health and wellness industry
King of Prussia, PA – The Global Retailer and Manufacturer Alliance (GRMA), is excited to announce the recipients of this year’s prestigious GRMA Ambassador and GRMA Champion awards. These honors celebrate individuals who volunteer, demonstrate leadership, and a commitment to advance quality and safety standards in the health and wellness industry.
The GRMA Ambassador: Recognizes member(s) that are strong advocates of the GRMA and continually promoting advancing the GRMA’s Vision – Advancing Global Quality & Safety Standards Together. The members(s) look at future challenges, issues, and come up with collaborative solutions for the betterment of the industry and the safety of the global community.
This year’s award recipients embody both the leadership and collaboration between retailers, manufacturers and labs as they each have played key roles in advancing the GRMA Dietary Supplement Product Integrity Program. The program established a pathway for labs to undergo a process-based assessment, demonstrate that their methods are fit for purpose and link essential compliance data within the Product Fastpass blockchain platform to share with their partners. The award recipients input a tremendous amount of work with participation in a technology proof of concept, laboratory and facility compliance, and represent the first retailer to accept the program – Compliance Fast-Track program, first independent lab to receive program recognition, and first manufacturing lab to receive an ANAB ISO 17025 accreditation scope extension for the GRMA program.
